Next Dinner Meeting: UL Listing - What does it really mean? - Atlantic Beach Club ||  Middletown, RI

The Rhode Island Section of the American Society for Quality (RIASQ) currently has over 500 members.  We are involved in many different companies and enterprises as professionals interested in quality. Our goal is to spread the word about the benefits of implementing and using quality practices in our professional and personal lives.

We have an active section that provides many opportunities for our members to expand their knowledge and associations with other quality professionals.

Please join us at our monthly dinner meetings where you will find a casual atmosphere, excellent networking and food. Our program content and speakers are selected to cover topics that are relevant and also appeal to many industries including manufacturing, the service sector in general, education and healthcare.

On behalf of our Leadership Team and members, we hope to see you there!

Congratulations to the 2008 RIASQ Scholarship winners, Jessica R. Buffi, Kelcie D. Andrade, & Artie C. Welchman.

Excerpt from Summer 2008 Quality Times

Letter from the Chair:

“Woo hoo it’s party time”, “I’m going to Disney World”, “The end of the world is near… repent… repent” are remarks you hear when milestone fulfillment is forthcoming or has been reached. Well, I’m not going to Disney World, and we all know the end of the world didn’t happen when the clock struck 12:00:01 on 1/1/2000. So, as we wind down from another successful year, my time as your Section Chair has also come to an end and… Woo hoo it’s time to party!"
