Certification Exams Information
The R.I. Section of the ASQ proctors 4 exam dates during the societal year;
the Exam Dates and Application Deadlines are listed under ASQ's exam
page. Application processing is completed by ASQ National and the application, along with the
required fee payment, must be received at ASQ National by the established deadline.

If you are preparing for an exam by attending
a RIASQ Refresher Course, our instructor will provide you with information concerning
the application process. When your application has been processed and accepted, you will receive a seating letter
from ASQ National confirming your registration for the exam.
All exams are held in the Conference
Center at the Sheraton Airport Hotel, 1850 Post
Road, Warwick, RI, 02886 (see map below). Check-in begins at 7:15AM ; a photo I.D. (Driver’s License) is
required. Exams begin promptly at 8:00am and end at the time limit allotted for the specific exam. Please remember that, while all ASQ exams are “open book”, the
BLUE sample question pages from the QCI Primers must be removed. Please feel free to bring any text books or other reference material, and any numeric calculator (alpha-numeric calculators are not allowed). Remember to bring several
sharpened pencils – a pencil sharpener is not available. Upon completion of the exam, you will be
required to turn in your Answer Sheet(s), Exam Booklet(s), and any “Scratch Paper” used during the exam. Bear in mind that cell phones are not allowed, and they must be “powered off” during the exam. The Chief Proctor will have final authority on questions concerning the admissibility of reference materials or calculators.
If, for any reason, you are unable to attend an exam for which you have registered and received
a seating letter, you must notify ASQ National of your inability to attend the exam. Notification to the RIASQ of your inability to attend is not required, but would be appreciated and can be sent by
e-mail to:

Should severe weather conditions occur
(heavy snow, ice, storm etc.), you may contact the Exam Chair
for the RIASQ @ 401-481-3127 after 6:00am on the morning of the exam for information concerning any possible reschedule.
