DUE TO A SCHEDULING CONFLICT, THE TOPIC FOR THE JANUARY MEETING WAS CHANGED AFTER THE MONTHLY FLYER WAS MAILED. Tom Hutchinson will present at the February Dinner Meeting. Dinner Meeting – January 19, 2012 Change and your Quality Management System Presented by Denise Robitaille In today’s economic environment, organizations find themselves challenged with balancing the needs of the business while maintaining a quality management system. In times that are financially tough, many organizations often see quality as an overhead activity that can be downsized. Regardless of economic factors, organizations operate in an ever-changing environment – changes to customer needs, resources, staff, technology and many other things. This session will focus on how to use ISO 9001 Clause 5.4.2 to manage the changes an organization makes. It will also review the requirements that organizations struggle with during business change. The session will also review how ISO 9004 can help manage some of these changes.
